Hello there world of DeviantART, my name is Kayla, but I'd prefer to be called Mysticmayhem, Mystic, Myst, ect., and I am a 14 year old digital artist and writer. I would be considered one of those 'antisocial' people, because I prefer not to talk to people I don't know, but once you truly get to know me, I can be my complete self around you without hesitation. I'm a very happy, cheerful, positive person that just comes natural to me. xP It is against my being to hate or hurt others, so I'm pretty much 100% nice. I tend to be a bit quiet, because I am shy at first. But believe me, once you see who I really am, you will not think of me the same anymore. xD
I was born and raised in Texas, which will always be considered my home. I grew up as a country girl, and that's what I'll always be. I typically listen to rock/metal music, but I have my moments when I go back to my country roots and be the girl I grew up as, talkin' with a Texas accent and listenin' to nothin' but country. (Now I'm getting a bit carried away... x3)
I don't plan on doing any sort of drawing when I get older; I'm more focused on either becoming a musician or veterinarian. I'm a lover of both animals and music, so I'd be happy to live either life.
I have been a violinist for 4 years and counting. I've also been a cellist for about a year, and I plan on learning more instruments, such as bass, viola, piano, flute, clarinet, drums, guitar... You get the point. Some of my interests are:
Favorite colors: Dark purple and black
Favorite animal: Wolf
Favorite genres of music: Rock/metal, classical, country
Favorite genres of literature: Fantasy
I typically draw animals, because I cannot draw humans what-so-ever. The animals I usually draw are cats and wolves, but I'm trying to find a style for more animals. I also draw cragons, which is a cat/dragon hybrid I made. My fursona, Andusk (Also known as Andie), is a cragon. I currently have 1 story up; I haven't decided a name for it yet, but it's about a wolf pack and all that stuff. I'm writing another story called Diabla, which is about a guy meeting a new girl at school who changes him into something he's not at all. I plan on putting that story up soon.
